I Call It Silver, My Mum Calls It Pearl! What Colour Accessories?

hi guys please check out the link to see the dress i am talking about, want to wear it to my friends party in 2 weeks time, i have some nice black heels that are peep toe and nice and plain and i have a black clutch and i also have 3 small bangles that are sparly, 2 are silver and 1 is black. do you think these accessories would match? i dont want to be over the top so that would be it, just normal hoop earings and belcher necklace with my j initial on it… also, wearing silver/grey/dark eye shaddow would be plain wouldnt it? or would it be ok, i dont know what colour eye shaddow to wear? and a pinky based blush would be better than brown right? i cant imagine silver and brown going together… your help is much appreciated!!!!! http://www4.snapfish.com.au/slideshow/Al…

  1. ok the jems are deffninately silver and the dress can maybe be called pearl but its more of a glossy offwhite (cream colour)

  2. I would call it silver.
Pearl is more….creamy and off-white and opaque.
I would drop the earrings and necklace since there are already sparkly things on the top of your dress, you might look too busy or dressed up with it all together.
Stick with the heels, the bangles, and the clutch.
Then do something fun with your eyelashes. Like try a blue mascara or fake lashes! Go with smoky shades for your shadows.

  3. It might be a little much, maybe ditch the necklace or the accessory you like the least. Ditch the silver/grey eyeshadow. Sometimes doing yourself up all in one color is a little over the top. I would spice it up and wear a very different color of shadow.

  4. It seems to me to be pearlish/off white, lol. But if the lighting is dark, I don’t think that matters too much. Your black accessories sound fine as long as everything is black & you don’t just throw in some other colour. Your make up should be smoky, I think, to blend well with the accessories. I’m thinking, grey, black & then silver/white to highlight your browbone. Have fun!
