Why Does Everyone Think I’m Conceited?

everyone in my 9th grade class thinks i’m conceited. they say it’s the way i act and dress. appearance is very important to me but that doesn’t mean i’m conceited. they tell me i act like everyone is below me. i have to admit that i do overdress in school. i like to wear pearls,bangles and much more Accessories and make sure that i match what i’m wearing. i Just feel that i dress a lot better than what the kids in my class wear. does this sound conceited?
i’ve always been accused of being conceited! so irritating! the only thing i think is i’ve always been picky bout my hair. i read in a book growing up that your hair is your shining glory.makes me wonder too! other than that, i use makeup shampoo,deodorant, perfume etc.just like most girls! tell that to them
well looking at your reflection so much does make you look a little vain.
and it’s one thing to have your own style but to feel you dress better because of your style also comes of a bit conceited
