How do I stop my copper necklace from turning me green?

I have a very nice copper necklace that I really like. My issue with it is that it turns my skin green. Is there a way to stop this? A solution to dip it in maybe?

  1. Don’t wear it!

  2. cover it in a coat of clear nail polish!

  3. Clear Nail Polish…my watch did the same thing and even after the nail polish wore away it never turned me green again…Just put it on the side that’s towards ur neck…you can’t tell it’s there…

  6. Yes there is i polished an old copper pot and lamp with my mom this summer. We used a combination of vinegar and baking soda paste. You mix it together or u can dip the cloth in the vinegar and then the baking soda and just polish polish polish. It really works and its a cheap mixture. We took off stains that had been on there for years. Good luck..i promise u this works. :)
